Parent Thread

Parent Thread is a Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast-based social enterprise creating spaces for parents to connect, reflect and support one another through every season of parenthood. We believe that parenthood was never meant to be a solo journey and that social connection is a vital foundation for wellbeing.

Our signature program, Bloom and Connect, is a gentle, small-group gathering for expectant mothers designed to nurture emotional wellbeing and build meaningful connections during pregnancy. Each session weaves together conversation, reflection and shared experience, helping participants create a circle of support that continues well beyond birth.

Alongside Bloom and Connect, Parent Thread runs community circles, collaborations and events that bring parents and caregivers together to share stories, learn and find belonging. Our focus extends beyond programs to advocacy, raising awareness about the importance of social connection in reducing loneliness and strengthening communities.
